    Sleeping Pad in The Hommock?

I was sleeping in my hammock the other night and my sleeping pad kept slipping off the edge and falling out , therefore made my hammock "colaps" at the end i had to agust it multible time in the night. any tips on how to position and keep the pad in the hommock all through the night?

    thanks

Using seam sealer, drawing zig zag lines along the bottom of the pad tends to help.

I have not tried this, but what about using the carpet anti slide mats. We have them under our throw rugs on the hard wood floors. Any Target, menards, home depot should have the stuff.

Wlaroche, that is an interesting fix. I'd be interested to hear if that works.

On a side note, I use a double layer specifically because I use a ground pad and when placed between the layers I have never had it move, not a solution but just my thoughts.

A double layer hammock would be ideal. But also some zig zags of silicone will help. I would think the anti skid pads would help too.

Get a UQ. Sell your wedding band, mortgage your house, take a 2nd job. Do whatever it takes. Get a UQ and you will be happy all the (hanging) days of your life.

before I got my UQ I cut down my blue foam sleeping pad to snugly fit on the inside of my sleeping bag. get in to the sleeping bag outside the hammock standing up then just sit an swing your legs in. worked for me.
