Luci string lights on your hammock

    Anyone try THESE yet?

They popped up on Mass Drop today. When checking them out for use on my ridge line or on my suspension I discovered they were 2.00 cheaper on Amazon.

What are you thoughts on them if you have used them? Are they good from a ridge line light? I have the regular Luci light that I use a lot.

I have 4 regular Luci lights and love them. Thank you for posting this, I'm going to check them out.

    Pretty cool.
18 feet long so plenty to spare.
    Never seen them though.
    You should be the first.

$30 bucks on Amazon and it's got a USB port to charge it up. I usually don't have much luck with the solar powered Luci inflatable light that I have, but these are worth a look.

I use my cheap $2.50 six foot string lights from Ikea with good success...batteries seem to last forever.

I have battery issues :P I always forget to take spares and I seem to run out of juice every time I don't bring a spare set. I started using solar powered hammock lighting a number of years ago. Also bring along a home made tea candle light should I need it.

I run these ones on my Chameleon. They're really light, and I just plug them into a 16750 mAh battery pack in my ridgeline organizer. Between these and charging my phone periodically, the battery pack will last a week.

I understand some folks my be drawn to the usb charge but I opted with a battery unit that was 1/5th of the weight and 1/6th of the price. These things have been pretty durable,

Of course, if I'm concerned with weight, the ridgeline string lights are the first thing to go!

Definitely pretty cool. I think I'd string them under the tarp
