Spindrift Sock for JRB BMBH ?

Has anyone tied to use the WB Spindrift scokc with a JRB bridge hammock?

I want to add one to my winter kit if they fit together relatively well.

    Thanks.

I have a JRB bridge and a ridgerunner but don't have a spindrift yet. You might make
the spindrift work but there are a couple of things you would have to change.

The webbing suspension on the JRB does not disconnect from the hammock in order to
pass it through the holes in the spindrift and the size webbing is two big for the holes.

Changing out your webbing to removable cord would be a work around for that.

Another problem is the spindrift is sized for the RR. the head end will be wider than
the JRB which might work. It would be wider by about 5 or 6 inches.

The foot end of the spindrift will not be wide enough as the JRB is wider than the
RR. You could put a shorter spreader bar on the foot end.

It looks like it could be made to work but not without some changes to hammock

I am now the proud owner of a RR and a BMBH. The Spindrift will not work on a BMBH without some fairly major modifications. The Spindrift has two small grommeted holes at each end. Brandon has designed it so that the Amsteel dogbones of the bridge suspension on the RR can be disconnected at the apex where they connect to the suspension line. The BMBH uses straps in the triangle that cannot be disconnected without cutting them. You'd pretty much need to duplicate the RR suspension on the BMBH to get it to work. I'm not going there.

Fortunately, Warbonnet has the SL RR on sale right now for only $85. With that price, why mess with the mods?
