    I use Z-packs z-line spectra cord for my tarp and love the stuff. I use the 1.25mm for the guylines, strong, and stiff so it doesn't tangle; and I use the 1.5 for the ridgline because it fits Dutch's tarp flyz very nicely. And the Dutch hook also fits it nicely on the other end.

    Dutch sells 3/32 shock cord, perfect for what you want it for.

    Zing has average strength of 400lbs for 1.75mm according to Sampson rope Zing-it.
