HC4U, great video. Good seeing your idea of instructional hammock videos on the site finally coming to fruition.

    Congrats!

i think they bight the webbing a little better being a straight edge rather than round so they are probably good without the backup, but do your own testing to verify that's the case.

i got my machine out of the shop today, runs like she was half her age. i started on the list today for all those who are waiting on the new grey blackbird fabric.

    Too many hammocks!

You are all killing me with all the hammock love out there! LOL

Bridges and Blackbirds and topquilts and bottom quilts and and and....

That was awesome hc4u. I have now started a folder on my computer for all of these videos that we are seeing on HF. I am getting quite the collection! Maybe I will bring my laptop to Mt Rogers and just play them all on a loop (as long as the battery holds out!) The variety of the clips keeps them all so interesting. Look forward to seeing the next one!

On one hang, it never slipped but the next one, slipped right away. (probably operator error) I'll go the conservative route and backup.

happy to hear that...looking forward to trying out my Yeti soon! As far as new colors on the Blackbird, I enjoy my retro, old school one tone olive!

I'm looking forward to seeing the Blackbird and the Yeti (hopefully) in person at Mt. Rogers. Who's bringing theirs?

Looking forward to finally getting the little lady out of my hammock and into her own! Are you sending those little triangle buckles out to everyone who orders the webbing suspension now? I'm kicking myself for going with the rope on my first one, the webbing setup seems much easier and quicker to pitch.

I wish I had the cash to pick up one of your overstuffed yeti's and one of those discounted superflys while I'm at it, you're making some kickass gear over there!

That's because you haven't seen the material he's talking about. I saw a piece of it and it is really a cool color. I've got the olive one too, but am drooling over the new color. Amazing how much more 'stealthy' it is. I've got one on order and am thinking about a second one; first one is for Genuine Draft, but I need a Xmas gift for me too.

I'm sure it is cool, but I'm trying to convience myself that having an "original olive" is cooler. You know how the old school, retro stuff is back in style! (all 3 months old! )

I'm on the list for one of the first 4 (I think...).
I hope he isn't too busy with the "winter color line" on the hammocks to get my Yeti out before winter is over!! <j/k Brandon...you're the best!>

Don't worry if you don't get it before winter is over, I bet he'll sell you a 3 season version for springtime.
