Thanks for making the video, it was a great job. I'm looking into buying a BB and every bit of info really helps. I was wondering what the finished weight was with using the two different materials. I am very much weight conscious and have been back and forth whether to get a single 1.7 or a double. The combination of the two could possibly be the answer. I weigh 195 and use a JRB UQ. Very rarely would I use a pad and if I did it would probably be a small piece for under the butt. How much difference does it make for lying flat having the double?

Okay, someone wrote me a PM and asked the weight of my BB, including suspension. I can't remember who asked me (PM disappered) and my scales were packed up at the time. I finally dug my scales out and weighed my setup.

My 1.1/1.7 DL BB, including the stock webbing suspension, tri-ring buckles, stuff sack, AND 2 x Camp Nano biners (1.1oz each.) weight 35.6 oz. There you go.

Just got mine Saturday and right out of the box it was 35.5 ounces which included:
1.1/1.7 with stock webbing, tri-rings and stuff sack (without Camp Nano biners). I must say the 1.7 material was my own from Walmart that I supplied to Brandon and it actually weighed 1.94 per sq yd.
