Has anyone used Momentum M50 fabric with 850FP down?? On thru-hiker it says to use with 900FP. Just checking with anyone who has used it. Thinking of making a TO/UQ combo.
Thanks,
Patrick

Yep. I have used it before and it works fine. I think they are referring to the 900fp down they sell on their site. But, you are good to go with the 850.

I've used that combo with no problems.

Thanks! Seemed like they might be pushing their own stuff there, but just wanted to be sure before I dive in.
If you need a suggestion on how to stuff the down, here is a little video to help out.

The reason for the warning is due to the fact that cheap down is full of feathers. These feathers have sharp stems. Delicate fabrics like M50 will be penetrated by these stems. High quality down doesn't have feathers and therefore, no offending stems.

Probably going to get my down from wilderness logic.
You will be good to go with WL down as I've used it before with M50. Mad777 is right with the feather issue and M50. But, 850+ is fine for the job.
