    Beanie,
Is it a big deal to undo and redo the covers at the end of the Hennessy? I was thinking of swapping the line suspension out for a couple of rings I'd put on a cord about 17 inches long so I could still keep the snake skins on.

I haven't looked closely at exactly how the hammock ends are finished in the cover. Is it easy access or do I have to be careful about permanently breaking something?

    Thank you,
    Paul

The hardest part of getting the end covers off is making enough clearance between the fabric and zip tie to cut the tie without cutting the fabric after that is easy as pie.

Its just as Dogbone says, a bit of a fiddle to cut the tie-wrap.
I replaced the tie wrap with a smaller one to shave a few more grams off. Its also a bit of a fiddle to cut the tail off this, I used some electronics side cutters, nice and small.

I don't know and I'm working away so I will not have a chance to measure it for a while yet.
I used 12" continuous loops and I still have my snakeskins on, I am a little nervous of the end loops disappearing onside so I thread the end loops through the loops on the end of the snakeskins. Simple to do and no added weight.
When i get home in a week I'll weight the system.

For anyone else looking to do this Dutchware also sells a kit specifically for HH with continuous loops, whoopies and hooks. Here is the video:

As for the loops slipping back into the sleeves, I tied some figure eights around the continuous loops at the base of the sleeve using a few inches of paracord and melted the ends to hold. It should do the trick.
