Where'd you get all the materials. It looks like a couple of taffeta hammocks with some bright colored straps.

Sourced the materials from different places. The taffeta came from tableclothsfactory.com, the Lash It! and Dyneema from Redden Marine and the webbing from strapworks.com. Everything for four basic hammocks under easily $99 shipped. That's pretty amazing. I tried to steer the kids towards more earthy tones but they were not going to hear another word of it.Originally Posted by Nighthauk

Some things I learned along the way:
) The knowledge on hammockforums is indispensable!
) Clean your thread injector prior to sewing.
) It's easier to sew straight end channels if you iron them after pinning, before sewing.
) Use double sided tape to hold the tree webbing in place while sewing.
) The heavy duty plastic coated twist ties work great for fishing Dyneema and Lash It!.
) 2.2mm Lash It would have probably been easier to work with than 1.75mm.
) Bug nets are next!
