Yes I did. I had a lot of excess material. Some have suggested a knotty mod to take care of it. I just filed it away lol

For those of you who have done the Knotty Stretch Mod, what diameter of shock cord did you use? The sewn hem on these tablecloths is a really narrow. Didn't know if you got a certain size that fit in the hem well, or if you had to resew a hem that was a little larger.

I'm about to make another one or three. I needed stuff sacks for the last ones I made. So this time I bought a black table runner in the Taffita and one in the Organza. I'm going to make a pocket and sew it on the side like on ENO's to be used as a stuff sack/assesory pocket. The organza I'm gonna see how a ridge line organizer will turn out or maybe snake skins for tarps. I'll take pics when I'm finished.

Sorry...I haven't looked at this thread in a while. I used 3/32 shock cord and it fit very nicely in the hem that was already there.

I just bought a 90x132, gonna try this out. I'm new to the hammock thing. Still using a tent for camping.

Any recommendations for sourcing the other components to complete this thing, please share!

I believe the general consensus is that dutch has the best prices on Amsteel, check out all the diy stickies and well as the suspension stickies.

I just ordered a Fushia 60x126 for the Mrs. and a Apple Green 60x126 and Purple 90x132 for me. Wanted to get a bit crazy with the colors and even got 4 different colors of Amsteel loops from Dutch. There will be no mistaking which hammock is mine I have a feeling...
