Hello from NW Florida

I also am new to hammocking. I just received my HH Explorer Dlx, but have yet to use it. None of the trees in my yard are suitable, either to close together or to far apart. I go on long motorcycle trips, and as I have read here, my hammock will be more versatile than the tent I have been using. Am looking forward to learning even more of the vast information available here. Thanks for being here!!

Welcome from Southern Ohio. If you haven't checked it out yet I would start with Shugs noobs series of videos on YouTube. It's a 10 part series, here is the link to the first one

That is the perfect start to get a foundation for hanging and very entertaining, just be careful you may find yourself with a Shug addiction LOL! No seriously, be careful

Welcome from NW Arkansas! I second the recommendation of Shug's videos. I would also recommend Derek Hanson's The Ultimate Hang book and website. Derek posts here as Dejoha. His illustrations and infographics are really helpful.
