    NH Sawyer Pond overnighter 11/16-11/17

We got our backpacks and the Huskies and drove 2.5hrs North to the Kancamagus Highway in NH to the Sawyer Pond Trailhead. It was an easy 4.5m hike in to the campsite, which we had to ourselves. We used the shelter during the day and set up our hammocks beside it. Unfortunately Nathan's phone storage bit the dust so we lost day1 photos. Temps ranged from 42 during the day down to 29 at night, wind chill in the teens. We both stayed very warm ( I used 2 sleeping bags: a 0 and a 15 and a 0d Incubator under a Big Agnes insulated air core pad beneath me, all covered by a Dream Hammock winter sock and had a roaring fire Friday night. This is our first time here, but not our last.
    Enjoy.

Yes! It works now and it is wonderful! :-) Loved the video. Great spirit. Wow. I need two hiking poles to add to my balance and you have a husky adding a twist to your stance :-)

Hopefully we will cross paths at a campsite soon.

Nice vid (I like the tight rope walk across the water being pulled by your husky).

    Thanks!

Great little trip report thanks for posting. I hope to see you two and your Huskies on the NEHHA winter hang.

Great Trip report! I love that area ..... I also loved the backpack mounts on the dogs, and the fact that they still love to pull, even if not mushing!

Thanks for taking us along - hope to meet you both and the pups at the NEHHA in January!
