Thanks guys, can't say my weight, but I am well below 200 lbs. so the 1.0 is very nice for me.

PapaSmurf, I'm going to try and hang out this weekend, but I have been fighting a flu bug, so hopefully by Friday I kick it and can hang in my sweet Darien UL.

Nice Hammock. I am not a fan of having netting over me though.

Thanks for sharing the pics! I have a Darien UL on order in the newly released Coyote and can hardly wait. These help satisfy the craving.

The coyote brown is a great neutral color. Don't forget to post your pics!

What makes it different from a henessy,or does it lay similar?

To me, I find that the asymmetrical lay is similar except it does not have the side tie outs like a HH does. The HH tie outs give you the "feeling" of more room. You can add the tie outs with some creative sewing. I prefer it the way it is.

I also own the HH Explorer Deluxe. It is 108'' long x 56" wide. The Darien UL is 120" long x 60" wide. It does make a difference in hanging comfort.

I find the Darien UL much more comfortable due to the stretch of the lighter material. Some do not like the stretch and prefer the support of heavier material or a double layer. Check Papa Smurf's weight guide on the Dream Hammocks website, http://www.dream-hammock.com , to ensure a good "fit."

Will do. It's "In progress" and I'm hoping to have it hanging in less than a week!!

You are going to love it and will be the envy of scouts.

I recently paired the Darien UL with a HG Cuban Fiber tarp with doors - I couldn't resist the Black Friday sale. My complete shelter set up is way less than 2 lbs. and packs down to nothing.

You will appreciate the weight savings and set up simplicity after a 15 mile day. This set up will be a great UL example for scouts who tend to over pack everything.
