    Blackbird Or Ridge runner

I have a BlackBird and love it I managed to damage it this summer , my multi tool came out of it's sheath and poked a large hole through the double layers I patched it looks like hell but has been holding up Spoke with brandon and he said matter of time it will fail so want to replace it , that being said. I am contemplating staying with blackbird or trying the ridge runner. my only questions are will I be able to use my current UQ I have a incubator full length and DIY made by friend 1/2 UQ also I have heard mention that the RR has to be hung low to ground for tarp coverage . Thanks Can't Wait

Yes, an Incubator works well with it. I'm layin in my RR right now in my back yard and LOVE it. The BB is great and I have one of those too, but I think the RR is just a bit more comfy.

Honestly, it's worth considering a lynx while they're having their sale. It fits at a level I've never experienced between a hammock and UQ. Simple, snug, no fuss and much lighter than the incubator because it doesn't try and cover as much.

Now, back to my nap.... ZZZzzzZZZzzzz

Gotcha, good for you. Definitely nothing bad to say about the BB. Plus, now there won't be a temptation to get a Lynx (:.

I have a couple different WBBBs and prefer the DH DangerBird. We'll see how the WB RR stacks up.

My RR is going to get its first extended workout in January for 4 days. I have high hopes based on the couple of naps that I've taken in it so far!

And for the record, I have two BB's and a Traveler as well. I have more nights in a BB than any of my other 12 hammocks that I now own.

In my limited experience I would say that if you are a bigger guy, sleep on your side in fetal or semi-fetal position, just prefer sleeping in a gathered end hammock, or don't want the extra grams... I would go with the BB.

For the rest, there's MasterCard (to buy a shiny new RR ).

I'm a bit of a side sleeper and bigger (6'2" 220) so I prefer my BB but I also love my RR. I would probably default to the BB except when the RR gives me some benefit I can't get from the BB, in which case I wouldn't hesitate using my incredibly comfy RR.
