Are you laying with the foot end up about 6" from the head end? As well, in where your body is lying - is that closer to the foot or head?

For me, I tend to raise the foot end and sleep up closer to the head end to help this. If it becomes a real problem, i will add the Knotty mod or add a footbox.

I've had the same issue and prefer the Night Owl hammock from Wilderness Logics. The WL Night Owl incorporates stretch cord in the side hem, strategically located at the foot and head to mitigate some of the "falling out" issues that are more frequent with the Traveler. The Night Owl also offers extra length (11' long vs 10' for the Traveler) that helps a bit with this issue.

FWIW, I still have my Traveler and haven't abandoned it.

I'm not familiar with the hemmed edges on the Traveler, but couldn't the OP do the shock-cord Knotty mod to the Traveler as well?

Dumb question but...Are you fanning out the hammock before you get in it??
That is my full time hammock, no problems..

i have found that when i use an UQ with the T my feet dont fall out anymore with the shock cord holding everything in place maybe not a cheep fix but works for me also increase the sag in the hammock if your ridge line is too tight the fabric is stretched more i found that helps to hang with a bit more sag..depends how tall you are or how diagonal you lie as well hope this helps you out

+1 on the value of the knotty mod when this problem is occurring. More on it here:
