Wow. Amazingly simple. Will definitely be doing this with my spare sil stuff sack

You may need to clarify your point a little. The bag should not move much at all.
The button-hole or grommet hole side is the fixed end. This is the end you hook up first to your anchor point (e.g., webbing straps). You next open up the cinched side and pull out the hammock. The Bishop Bag stays on the hammock on one end automatically.
Put another way, when properly stuffed inside the Bishop Bag, you should have both ends of the hammock sticking out: one end loop is sticking out of the button hole/grommet, the other end loop is sticking out of the cinched side. Deploy your hammock by first connecting the loop that sticks out of the button hole/grommet side. Once this loop is connected to your anchor point, the bag won't slip off that side. The hammock is deployed by pulling it out of the cinched side while the button hole side is securely anchored.
A double-sided stuff sack works in the same way, except instead of a button hole on one end, you have another cinched side. This allows you to pull the hammock out from either end.
I hope that makes sense! Let me know if I understood your question.

You have an incredible talent. Being a very visual person, these illustrations are fantastic. Thanks for sharing them with us.
Had to give this a try, and I am very glad I did. I used a spare silnylon stuff sack I had laying around. Thanks for this idea
