Thanks Jim! I'm working on the bug fixes. I made some changes last night -- can anyone test this from their Windows IE8/9 machine and tell me if it is working?

I'm also working on extracting the data tables so you can see all the categories at once to compare multiple meta data and then use the à la carte menu to compare kits. I hope that makes sense.

Also, it might be useful to show approximate costs for DL versions of Warbonnet, BIAS, Dream Hammocks, etc. This might help people struggling between DL hammock and pad, or single layer and UQ.

A nifty bit of code (not that I'm a programmer) for Swiss Army hammocks with integrated bugnet would automatically change the value under bugnet to N/A (included with hammock).

    Great job!
    Thanks SilvrSurfr!

I see that you are right about adding the DL versions. I've written myself a note and I'll get those added pronto.

Below the à la carte menu are my own examples/recommendations for "Entry Level," "Low Cost," and "Ultralight." Yes, those are static tables where I've added in some of my own comments/rationale. Do you think this is valuable at all, or should I remove those and just leave the dynamic à la carte database?

And as for the kits that include bug nets and/or tarps, you're correct that there is no switch that sets tarp or bug net to "None" at the moment. My thought on this was to give the most options to the user. For example, let's say you pick a Hennessy Hammock, but you'd like to add a tarp from Jacks "R" Better. I wanted the table to allow for that, even though the Hennessy comes with a stock tarp. Bug nets are a different issue, I suppose, but I felt it was better to offer a consistent user experience than have people wonder why they couldn't select a stand-alone bug net while the Hennessy Hammock was also picked, for example.

It may be an incompetent operator on the mouse and keyboard, but still not working on IE8

    Will do, and thanks!

EDIT: Jack, I should have looked more closely at your list. I'm not adding individual hardware items, just complete suspension systems, so I left off a few here.

Drop-downs now working on Firefox & IE...

    The drop-downs are now working on Firefox 17 (& 16) and IE 9 (& 8)...
Thnx, dejoha! Yet another great hammocking resource...

BTW, under "Tarps", you might want to also add ZPacks cuben asym, hex, & hex w/doors "hammock" tarps... Another very good cottage vendor (though as you can see I'm previously partial to HammockGear! )...
    Happy trails!!!

Sweet! I was fiddling yesterday and it looks like we nailed it. I'm noticing little errors in the data here and there, so please send those updates to me so I can keep the data up-to-date.
