Nice! How did you mount your hammock?
Nice space. It looks like you even have a helmet for testing those ultra lightweight hammocks Safety first!

That's awesome! One of these days I might get around to cleaning my "lab"
Definitely a nice place to store and test your gear! Looks like you're into skydiving as well...where's your "home" DZ...The Farm? I got into skydiving about a year ago, but never got past student status...this pesky addiction called hammocks got in the way. Seriously, I just had to pick one or the other financially & hammocks won out...temporarily anyway... I miss jumping out of planes!
Btw, I lived in Cleveland for about 6 months shortly after I graduated from Clemson...beautiful area!
I believe that's for skydiving...though it'll definitely provide hammock safety as well...
Man, this is nice. I just took over one of our spare bedrooms for a gear "closet", but it's not close to that big! Wonder if it's big enough to mount a hammock in there somehow... I am just worried about ripping drywall down or worse. Lol.
Thanks. Hmmm, no I don't but a lil bit of tyvek could remedy that.
Thank you. I used eye lag screws. I'm not sure that was the best idea. My thought was that I'm only gonna be getting in it for short periods for testing. HAHAHA...yeah right. I've already spent the night in it and several hours throughout the day.
Thanks.Blue Skies and a woot woot to you
With this new M50 hammock I just made I feel like I may need it!
Thanks a lot. I was a skydiver, haven't jumped in a couple years though. My home DZ was the original Skydive Monroe then when it closed down I went nomad and bounced back and forth between SDA and The Farm. The distance/time/money/family kinda forced me to hang my rig up. Although I have recently been thinkin about getting back into it. Just as soon as I get my hammock problem...I mean, passion, under control. Where did you jump? Cleveland is a great place to live if you're into the outdoors. Took me a while to learn to appreciate this place.
Yeah, I've heard stories of people ripping out studs. I attached mine into the stud of the window frame and the door frame jack stud since they are more secured than a wall stud that's only nailed at the top and bottom. Hopefully I've got the one in the window screwed in securely, kinda hard to tell going in at an angle. It's held good so far.
