I had a few people asking questions about my suspension for my tarp, so I did a short video about how I did it. If anyone has more specific questions, just post 'em here or send me a pm.

If you ain't havin' fun, you're doin' it wrong
Thanks for the video. Do you always use a continuous loop for a prusik. Any experience using a soft shackle prusik? If so, do you have a preference of one over the other?

I've got a short leftover section of zing-it burning up my gear pile. Time to knock out some small continuous loops and maybe convert my tieouts. More projects.....just what I needed ;-)
Nice video.
I use the same system for my stake tieouts.
I put a locked brummel in both ends though. If one side is shorter and closer to where I plan on putting my stake I use that. If the other side is closer, I use that side.
Makes it a bit easier IMHO to use.
Thanks for posting.
I haven't used short shackles, but I assume it would work pretty much the same.
I like the suggestion about the brummel on each end, but if you have tensioners, you'd have to have them on both ends. That wouldn't be practical for my particular set up.

That's pretty cool. I've used prusiks on my lines but I have always just moved the prusik up and down the line hooking it to the tent stake itself. I may try your method. Thanks for posting the video.

Well done Caveman. I like your system a lot.
