    Hammock Gear Cuben meets RidgeRunner!

After bugging Adam and Jenny for the last while, I finally pulled the trigger on a custom 4 season tarp for my RidgeRunner! I ordered it with a 12 ft ridgeline, door tieouts, and had the HG crew space the pullouts to match the spreader bar width on the RR! 7.4 ounces in the bag...

I'll likely order some z-line from Joe to finish it off and go with a 2-piece ridgeline with Dutch's tarp flies to round it out.

Have had it out of the bag and spread it out in the living room... with the doors and 12ft length...it's massive!

Can't wait to give it a try, will be tied up with work the next couple of weekends, but will post pics as soon as possible.

Would like to give a shout out to Adam and Jenny once again for the outstanding customer service. I have to say that they are some of the finest folks that I've ever done business with and really enjoy getting to chat with them. So much so, that I've got a custom 0 deg burrow coming to help ward off the winter!

    Cheers!

Hey Barlutti! Yes, I think you could park a small truck under this thing...when I unpacked it, I couldn't believe how huge this tarp is, the 12ft ridgeline makes a big difference.

Thanks Yukon, I think having the pullouts set out to the length of the spreaders should really help, especially if one tries to bring it down a bit for storm mode. I wanted something versatile to use with my gathered ends, but mainly for the RR in all seasons. The door tie outs are awesome. Picture a couple of small strips of cuben for each door, bonded at both ends, making a bit of a loop that you attach a very light cord to. You just roll the doors up and tie them off with the string. Basically weighs nothing, but gets the doors out of the way properly if you want to keep things in hex mode.

    +1 on wanting pics/vid

I've been curious about which tarp and mods if any people are using for the WB RR. At 7.5 ounces you'd done very well.
Another question related not to this tarp but maybe, and def. related to bridge hammocks. If you wanted to bring the tarp all the way to the ground on all sides to block all the wind possible how does that affect the bridge? Seems like that would be easier to do than in a gathered end.
I missed Cranky Bear's WB RR at MAHHA and hate that, might be a while before I can get first hand on one.
