Possibly get some replacement carbon fiber poles to reduce the pole weight?

I will carry mine from time to time as the mood, urge strikes. Like driving the Cadillac on Sunday>>>>>>

Whooooo Buddy)))) All Secure in Sector Seven
As far as I have talked with those folks they only work with tent pole sized poles...pencil type diameter. Though it seams like MedicineMan had some Carbon fiber poles made for a bridge....or perhaps it was just his hiking poles...made up a year or two..or three ago.
Some thread searching to be done for sure.

Well, my set up isn't getting any lighter, I just ordered the cloud burst tarp. Took advantage of it while it was still on sale. New hammock and tarp on the way!
Same here. Darn Black Friday sales!
I used a WBBB with Edge tarp, light, but could never get 100% comfortable with it. So I got a BMBH. That feels much more comfortable, but a bit of squeeze at the shoulders and a feeling of being down in a ditch. I'm hoping the RR will solve the problems.
Willing to go heavier for comfort.
Next up is ordering a lynx. Brandon is taking all my money!
