I was given a dome tent organizer probably 15+ years ago... Well at the time my dome tent didn't have the necessary inside tie out points to attach it... So it stayed in the pouch... It has moved several times, still in the original sealed package... The plastic turned Brown and the lettering started to fade on it... I just never had a use for it... Till yesterday I pulled it out of the package with the intent of looking at it before I threw it away... As I unfolded it clicked, ridgeline organizer!!! So today the sewing machine busted out... It was a big tapered piece, 31" long 21" wide at the top and tapering down to 17" or so... I ended up with two ridgeline organizers out of it the bigger one is 20x7 or so... And the smaller one is 15x8... Because of the taper and the way I planned them, the mouth of them holds open even when empty... And then I heavily stitched in the center to keep it from dumping my stuff out...the start of it all I cut off the tie outs and used it as gross grain on the few places I needed it...
The smaller of the two though not by much...
This big one will go on my newly made tablecloth hammock as soon as my ridgeline comes in from AHE...
