My Patagonia Traverse and Integral pants have a drawstring waist, and I guess people are putting in a cord lock so you don't have to tie it off. There must be some type of low profile cord lock available, as this is against the skin?

I don't know about low profile but these are the smallest cordlocks I've been able to find:

Thanks, I forgot to check back on this thread again. Those would work, I can't tell if they are oval. I noticed a while back my patagonia rain pants have really nice oval cord lock, I wish they had used it on their other pants.
They are rounded but not oval.

If I keep hitting the pecan pie, I won't have any slack to worry about.
arrowhead equip has some really good and strong cord locks, small and larger size, best I've found
Check out the Mini Mini ones here:

If you've never ordered from Quest before, don't worry about the shipping charge. If you order something small, they usually charge the actual shipping cost and refund you.
Check out this site.

I've used the first one and the round bead shaped ones toward the bottom. The first one is fairly profile. Just send it through both, knot the cord, then pull the middle section to tighten rather than the end.
www.owfinc.com has a varied selection of cord-locks.
