    Welcome, Sprott.

You'll find many ideas here! Folk here both wise and generous.

There are bridge hammocks and those with foot boxes sewn in.

Beyond that it would be helpful to know what you didn't like about it.

    Hello and Welcome from Canada!

Are there items you are specifically looking for? With the eno - are you using an underquilt or a bug net? What are you looking to get out of your rig?

Some specifics from you would help get a better idea.

Grab a cuppa and start perusing on here.
    Maybe here....http://www.hammockforums.net/forum/s...ead.php?t=8921

Then search through the "Hammock Gear - Manufacturers and Services" Section.

    That should get you started.
    Carry forth.

Hey thanks Mike, Yea. I would like to lay more flat if you will..
the ENO dose not promote that.

ANd as far as a tarp, well I ve seen many options,,, just dont know which one to get.. Im going to stick with a price range between 300-375ish.

I love my Warbonnet BlackBird and Mamajamba tarp. I have a DIY down underquilt. It's easy to make your own hammock - from mild to wild. There's all sorts of plans in the DIY section.

    Here's a few to look at http://www.hammockforums.net/forum/showthread.php?t=670

You can also make your own underquilts/topquilts - synthetic or down for insulation. Same for a tarp.

If you can't sew, there are a bunch of nice cottage industry sellers here in the forum.

Since you are just getting into this, you might want to get a double layer hammock and use your thermarest for insulation under you. It does work with a single layer, but it will most likely squirt out from under you at some point. From my experience the UQ (underquilt) is the way to go, but I used the thermarest until I made a UQ.

I have a DIY 11 foot hammock that I made for about $25 with whoopies slings and ridge line. I find that is pretty comfortable for me.
