    Am I correct in reading this as the finished cloth will be 54" wide at head and foot & 42" wide in the middle (6" drop on either side)?

    Also that the raw fabric would be 57" wide before cutting?

    Sorry if this is dumb question that is obvious to everyone else.

    Yes, When I talk finished length I talk about the exposed fabric area. Not area taken up by the suspension. Most fabrics I've found come in 60" widths

    Not a dumb question. some times I don't explain stuff as well as I should

    Im working on trying to make the end cap fit better.

    I also found this application today... very useful!

    because it calculates in real time you can figure the endcap, main body length and any point along the curve
