    HELP. Which Quilt

Hello All. I finally am going to buy an underquilt but not sure which one. Was wondering if you all could chime in an let me know what you all think and any experience you have.

I have a HH Exp Deluxe and was thinking about getting either a Potomac from KAO or a 20 Degree Incubator. What do you all think. I also own a Blackbird so I would like to get an UQ that will work well on both hammocks. Never used and UQ so I want one that is easy to set up and such. Weight is not a big issue. Thanks for the Help.

HammockGear Incubator 20*. Well priced, very flexible (it works great on my Blackbird and my Ridgerunner) and its workmanship is top notch.

Both are fantastic quilts, but your choice is going to depend on how you will be using them and in what conditions.

If you backpacking and every ounce counts to you then the Incubator is my suggestion. Although if you don't mind the extra few ounces and may see a good bit of wet then I'd go for the Potomac.

The Potomac is likely going to fit your HH a bit better as it is designed specifically for it, but the Incubator will work just as well but may take a little more finagling. For the WB the Potomac may take a little more finagling due to it's design.

Either way I know you're going to be happy with not only the product you receive but also the great service both companies provide.

I'm also searching for the ideal UQ. Is there a benefit to using a down quilt as opposed to synthetic, aside from down (i would imagine) packing down smaller and lighter? Also, does anyone have any pics of a KAQ in a stuff sack for a size reference?

The website will! If not message them and they will shoot you one! I prefer down! But synthetic holds up better in very wet conditions if the down does not have a waterproof underside!

I have a Warbonnet Winter Yeti and I'm quite pleased with it. From the research I did, it was the smallest and lightest option for that temperature range. Worked well last weekend at the Valens hang.
