It was just too cold. Period. We needed a smokehouse tarp and wood burning stove
How cold did it get???

We think 18, but we can verify for certain it was at least 25

It was a great trip. I'm pretty sure everyone made it home safe I really love this trail. It's one of my favorites. It was a bit chilly at night, but brute was kind enough to keep the fire going. Once I hit the hammock....well you all know....I was toasty warm until my "nature call" at about 3am. Then it took a good 2 minutes to warm back up Reggie had a great time and to help keep him warm I lowered my hammock so that he could snuggle up to me and wrapped him in my down jacket. When we reached the end of the trail he seemed like he was ready to hike back.
I think brute is putting together a trip report. Good times.
If you ain't havin' fun, you're doin' it wrong
Thanks to Caveman and Reggie the wonder dog for allowing us to tag along.
