Hello all,
My name is Derek. I live in the ozark mountains full of camping locations and hiking trails. I recently stumbled upon hammock camping during thanksgiving when I went out with my father and my uncle and saw their setups. I was very impressed and decided that this is the only way to really camp. I bought myself a Trek Lightgear double and I'm waiting for it to come in. I'd like to do some backpacking and camping this spring so this is going to be a good way to handle bedding/shelter. I look forward to sharing my adventures with you all and reading about yours as well.
