Illustration - DIY Convert Hammock Stuff Sack into Bishop Bag

You don't really need any sewing skills for this DIY project. If you've got a gathered-end hammock, you might be eligible for this easy project -- converting the side stuff sack into a high-performing, two-sided bishop bag.

Not all attached stuff sacks convert well, so your milage may very. I found that some brands have really nice sacks with plenty of room that make for great bishop bags. I have a little more on my blog.

I should note (thought it is probably self-evident) that _any_ stuff sack could be converted into a Bishop Bag, not only those attached to a hammock. One idea I wanted to get across with this illustration was that "the solution may already be in your hand." I've got a stuff sack stuffed with other stuff sacks and I decided that instead of buying more stuff sacks I'll just re-purpose them or convert them into the sort of bags I need.
