NC > Doughton Park (near Stone Mtn) > Dec 1-2

Greetings -
Bonepile & I are headed on a 1 night backpacking trip & hang to Doughton Park, which is located just west of Stone Mountain. The plan is to meet at the trailhead at 10:30 Saturday & depart on Sunday.

Any interest in joining?
I have a permit, with 4 openings. (More permits may be available but I'm not sure).
This is a 1.5 mile hike in, on a flat trail (no PUD's). Day hikes are available, though they may involve PUD's (pointless up & downs).
The camping spot has a creek nearby, no facilities. I expect there will be others in the area, so I wouldn't expect solitude but there are nice trees there.

I would love to, but for some reason the bill collectors want to be paid.

So guess I've got to work. Yall have fun though, and take lots of pics and/or video for the trip report. Afterall forum rules: Pics or it didn't happen.
