    10ft or 8ft?

I am new to hammocking and have been reading about it from here and WB for several months. I am 6'1" 190 and i have a single ENO, that i am looking to upgrade, I have like what I have read about the CLaytor JH and Expedition, Warbonnet BB the JRB Bridge. In addition, I like to sleep on my side. Do i opt for the 10ft claytor JH or go with the smaller Expedition, BB, or Bridge?

The Warbonnet BB and the JRB bridge both allow for sleeping on your side very easily (I have both, and also sleep on my side occasionally.) At 6'1", if you sleep on your side in the fetal position, it is tough in a BMB (but not impossible) but easy in a Warbonnet - the BB is CAVERNOUS inside compared to others and the footbox allows various sleep positioning. I will now commence to get slammed by the bridge users out there (hey, remember I am one as well!)

Those are all good choices, except for the Bear Mountain Bridge. Out of the hammocks I've tried, it was my least favorite. I recommend just getting a Warbonnet.

I have the Claytor Jungle and a couple of Claytor clones I made. All are very comfy. I sleep on my back & side with no problems. As far as I'm concerned the Claytor is the best style for me. P.S., Welcome to HF

From reading at HF the BB sounds like the latest and greatest, is it easy for a first timer to set up and take down? It seems to be the best option, is there any down-side to the BB that anyone has noticed other than you don't know when it will be ready?

right now wait time is about a week. i'm going back home for the holiday's, probably be leaving a week from monday, right now i'm still looking to get all current orders done by then, and probably have room for a few more before i leave.

since there's a built-in structural ridgeline, setup is pretty simple, especially if you go with the adjustable webbing suspension and add 2 biners. the side tieouts are very simple also and it's actually not even necessary to stake them out at all if you don't want to.
