I started saving money for the Lite Owl, but I hear so many great things about the Blackbirds, & now I'm thinking of ordering a Dangerbird .???
If u have or had one can you tell me the pros and cons? Thanks

I've had a WBBB for about two years. Wore it out. The biggest problem with the WBBB is that you can only get into it from one side. That side will eventually stretch out, leaving you with an uncomfortable hammock. The other choices you list have a zipper, I think, on both sides. If one side streches out a bit, use the other side until they are even.
I love my lite owl. I carry it on all my trips. I like the fact that I can remove the net during the cold season when the bugs aren't out and if you want to lay with your head to the right, just flip it over. The dangerbird has the ability to tuck the net up out of the way, so that's pretty sweet. People love their Blackbirds though
If I could do it again, I'd get a lite owl with a bias bugnet......(oh wait, that's what I have now)
Get the Lite Owl, you won't regret it.
If you ain't havin' fun, you're doin' it wrong
I love my blackbird. Super comfy and built in bug net that can be rolled up out of the way if you don't want it. I like the tie outs, they keep the hammock roomy, and not flopping in your face. The shelf also keeps your gear out of your face, better than a ridge line organizer, imo.
The more I learn about people, the more I like my dog.
Oh ya...I forgot about "the Shelf"....that's a plus for sure.

I have a BB,,,,love it. I have a Lite Owl,,,,love it. The Lite Owl is a little flatter for me, especially at the head end,,,which i like.

Any opinions on the Switchback?
I have a Dangerbird and Love it! It's no lightweight as mine is a 1.7 Double (I think) plus you always have the bugnet and overcover with you but another nice thing is that you always have the bugnet and overcover in case you need either of them.
