    What other items...

I made my first hammock. I have a tarp. Made my whoopie slings. Fashioned my own tree straps. I think I have all the major pieces of equipment - sleeping bag, pad etc. Question is:

What extraneous pieces of hammock equipment do you take that made the trip more enjoyable, easier, fun...?

For instance, I always carry two lawn and leaf bags. One to go under the hammock as a floor mat & camp fire sitting pad and one to carry all the trash I find out of the woods.

I have a sizable, 12x7 Ridge Line organizer divided into two compartments for my Lite Owl.
    Also 2QZQ UQ protector.

Ridgeline organizers are good... Mesh works good for them... Stuff sacks, double ended, bishop bag style... Different tarp set ups...

Thanks for the replies. I always like hearing what others have learned.

I have gone back and forth using ridge line organizers. I always found it difficult using the organizer in my Hennessy because I can't get to it easily outside of the hammock. I started leaving some of those items in stuff sacks on the ground under the hammock. That's when I discovered that critters like to play with that stuff. Even woke up to a bear right beside my hammock that way. But that's another story.

Like dragon360, I found camp shoes really help the feet recover from long hikes. So far nothing has bothered to carry those off, can't imagine why .

Notebooks and reading are always a nice way to end a day too. I think for those items I am going to add a ridge organizer back to my kit. New project underway.
