For those interested, it looks like Deep South Mountaineering has created a version:

This is very similar to what I had created. Very cool stuff.

I like ...
We would be one step closer to world peace, if everyone slept in a hammock..
Certainly not for me. Sometimes, it's so hot, I don't want to be under an TQ or anything...and I move to much.
I bought the Hug and found it a little hard to get set up right. Also for me I prefer to have total bug coverage so I don't need to keep my legs covered or use a underquilt if its hot. I got the Bug Sock from Dream Hammocks and it works well. It only weights one ounce more than my Hug. I am keeping the Hug however because it does have some benefits like easy entrance and exit.
I tried the Hug but sent it back. I want a more certain seal that just wasn't there for me. For many this 90% solution will be a good tradeoff but for me if I need a bugnet I want 100%.
I bought the Hug and did not like it. No seal whatsoever for me no matter how hard I tried. Good concept but fail in real life. I had yellow flies coming in from every direction.
