"Familiarity breeds love.
We don't need to save nature we need to love nature.
The only way people will love nature is if they experience it first hand.
There is no better way to experience nature than participating in it."
I have several "Frozen Butts" hanging in the freezer, well laying on the shelves. I bought 10 of them this past spring when they were on sale. I smoke one ever now and then. The meat just falls off the bone. Best pork I have ever had. If this will be a spring hang, I may have to make this one and skip the VA hang. Just thinking about it is making my mouth water, hmmmm maybe I'll smoke one next weekend!!!!!.........RR
I'm a member of PETA!!!!
When and where is all I need to know. As long as its not the same weekend as my hang.
Life looks better from a BIAS hammock.
I know I haven't been around much of late but... This sure is the thread to get my back in!!!!!
I'm down for it soon as the weather breaks! My mouth was already watering BEFORE I watched Shugs video!!!

Well I'd say that's a definite bit of interest guess I'll start figuring out a date with the park as to what is available and get a reservation set. I'm going to tentatively say the last weekend of March, but of course plans may change and I'll get an official planning thread up in the new SouthEast Regional subforum soon as I can get an official date set.
I am interested and have some hickory that may be dried in time for the hang.
Bit far for me to travel but i like your style!
Go to Heaven for the climate, Hell for the company.
I'm interested!...hopefully it'll fall on one of my weekends off...
Yum yum! Sounds like a fantastic outing! I've made Greek souvlaki out of pork butt for a couple outings. Eatin' good in the wood!!
