    TN>Savage Gulf>March 2013 Backpacking Hang

    Lets narrow it down to these four dates. 2--Thursday - Sunday options and 2--Friday - Monday options:

    Suggested Route:

    Night One: Base Camp at Savage Ranger Station Camp

    Day 1: Hike North Rim to Hobbs Cabin campsite (8 sites + the Cabin) ~9 miles
    Day 2: Hike into the gulf to Sawmill up out to the Stage Road campsite (10 sites) ~5 miles (toughest day)
    Day 3: Hike South Rim back to Savage Ranger Station trail head ~7 miles and off to the Chinese Buffet
