Dang, I wish I lived closer, I'd take that White in a New York minute! If you still have it when you come back over here in the Spring I'll take it off your hands.

I have seen a couple of your vintage beauties on the "Show me your thread injector" thread, remember need, not want, but if no takers, I just might do that.

That is why I mentioned a hand off transfer.

I will be in MN, Jan 19-23, if someone lives close to the Froze butt hang area or along the route to there for me. Or someone attending that hang from your area.

HF is a big network. Through coordinated efforts we all can help.

Also being the holidays, who has relatives going to where you are from the south east MI area.

Or lubbockhammockguy, Southernfan6885, anyone on HF from SE MI heading your way, or the other way.

If MacEntyre is OK with it, if he goes to the Froze Butt hang, there is a route all the way to NC.

Yes, I have my Grandmother's Singer that only does a straight stitch with no zig zag or other stitches. And the portable that was my Mother's was overhauled and still doesn't work.
Id be a treat to have one that works a little better. But someone who doesn't have a machine at all would by all means need it more than myself . So please only if there are no takers.

Yes sir, I would love to have one! I figure since our conversation at the mi fall hang where you suggested i make my own clothes that now i have no excuse, i just hope the diy bug doesnt drive me into some all consuming obsession on what i can make next...except for maybe a sock, or my own dl hammock, or you know the clothes that you suggested...lol
anyway i live in nw indiana so would be a matter of day and time, I work swing shift so it might take some planning but is not a big deal. I am leaving for vacation tonight/early am and returning 8th .. fyi

I am interested in the white, or one of the others as a second choice. I do not own a sewing machine, and as you may remember we talked a bit about me taking the gear making plunge. The issue is as always u don't have the money to spend on something that I may decide I don't like. But as the cold weather is settling in I am thinking a lot about different projects I could try. I can meet you somewhere over the weekend this weekend, or any other time that I have day off. I am willing to drive to you. Oh and thank you so much for being a generous person! Even if I don't get dibs on one you are awesome for being so nice!

Added you to the list. The White will not do zigzag stitches, only straight and reverse, but it sews very nice.
