    Talking Researching for Christmas Gifts

I guess I should introduce myself since I've been reading all the posts and gleaning lots of great info.

I have a 16 year old son who needs to get the Camping Merit Badge for Eagle.
Yes I'm a proud mom and that is a brag.

So I just spent my entire Christmas budget on a Hennessy Expedition Zip and a zepplein underquilt from Underground Quilts. Hope it all gets here by Christmas.

I'm excited to see his face when he opens his gifts.

    Thumbs up

Very nice set up, should be a great way to work on the camping merit badge. And welcome to the forums from an older eagle.

He's sure to love it. My youngest brother is also in Scouts, and for Christmas, I'm giving him a Grand Trunk Ultralight that I upgraded with descender rings/webbing suspension. Hopefully they will both spread the addiction to their peers.

Welcome from Upstate NY. Your son will really like his gifts. You are a special parent to take the time to research and purchase the equipment that he needs. Let us know what his reaction is at Christmas.
