Great Hang! Always great to meet up with all the HF members and be able to put a face with post you read. Had a good time meeting up with old friends and make new ones.

    NC>Falls Lake> April 19-21, 2013 - Smoked Butt Hang (Official Planning Thread)

Thank you all for the concern.

Quickie update: I got my motorcycle towed (could have bought a small tarp for that money!) and I will catch the one remaining train to Philly at 8pm. Tomorrow I will be back here with a trailer.

FireInMyBones, it was great to meet you and hang out with you too. Gosh, I met so many nice people this weekend. I'm gonna hafta come back now, figure out what the next hang is near here that I can attend.

It was great to meet you, sir. Be safe!
Great! I'll PM you later this week to see what your schedule is. I can't use the certificate right away, so no rush. I was just looking at their gear today. Thanks, HG.

Thanks to everyone at the hang. I had a great time and it was great to meet everyone and have the chance to look at everyone's setups and ask a bunch of questions.

The food was great and the company even better. I couldn't have asked for a better welcome to the forums and I'll be doing my best to go to the next one.

I have a few friends who are also interested in hammock camping, so I'll try to drag them along the next time there's one in the area.

Thanks again to everyone who came out and to everyone who helped make this hang so awesome. From Gunner76 taking care of things I never thought of, such as a sign in sheet, to Mullinax going to pick up an amazing load of firewood, to Visionarylion's kids for being fun and keeping things lighthearted. I honestly can't thank everyone enough for everything they did. I feel like I made some real friends that I can't wait to see again. Will be posting my trip report soon, and then start on the planning for next years.

Many thanks to Catavarie for hosting such an awesome hang.
It was good to see people I've met at previous hangs and meet new people I hope to see at future hangs. It was a great time and I hope it becomes an annual hang(with the good time and great food I have no doubt it will).
