    HH Zipper Conversion

I've used my HH Ultralite Backpacker for 5 years now. Lately I've been thinking about converting it to a zipper model.

I've never seen an example of an HH with a zipper. Anyone got a picture you could post for me?

Also, for those who have the zipper option, what do you think of it?

    Thanks, friends..

2Q/ZQ do that all the time. They do fabulous work and they do it right. IMO you can't do better than have them do it for you. It ain't DIY but it is done right the first time.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

I have the triple zip mod on both sides. Installed by 2QZQ. No complaints. I left the bottom entry opening just in case I'm ever in extreme bug country and do not want to unzip the top, but have not used the bottom entry since.

+1...2QZQ perform a terrific service for the price. The quality looks better than the factory install (and they use a much better zipper than HH). I've got a 2QZQ converted explorer and then bought my son a zipper model expedition. I was kind of disappointed as to what a big, bulky zipper HH uses. I don't see any advantage from a durability standpoint as the netting isn't under much stress.

    Go for it

2qZq converted my HH Expedition, I just wanted 1 side. Love it! Which ever mod you'll get,
you'll find it handy for many purposes. Adj quilt, just sitting in, cooking from hammock, sourcing
    another beer ;^)

They're top notch. Mine turned out flawless, just like everyone says.

Had my HH DJ XL and my Hyperlite done with Mod #4, and the work is flawless. I love the versatility of both ahmmocks now. Adjusting the UQ is so much easier. I love, love, love it.
