I haven't attended a hang yet. Can I assume it will be a family-friendly affair which my well behaved 3yr old son could attend with me, or would that rain on anyone else's parade? I want to make it a family trip if possible but don't want to infringe on anyone else's good time.

Imo his presence would make for a better hang. You won't meet a nicer group of people and families have always been welcome in the past.
i have been brining my boys for years ,this hangout is very family oriented.some bring thier entire families,children are always welcome
