One night to hang is better than none! Sorry but I'm not totally bailing on this much awaited event, but WORK got in the way and it would very,very late before I could even get there tomorrow night. I dont want to drive up there late at night, tired, cranky and have to try and find a safe place to hang in the dark anyway. So, I plan to be up Saturday morning with the things I committed to bring for the Saturday evening meal. I'll find a couple of trees to hang from in the morning and get set up then, as there are so many around the area to choose from!

Weather FYI.

27 degrees in Blairsville this AM. Supposed to be near freezing by dark this evening. Mid twenties by Saturday AM.

Saturday night is supposed to be not as cold.

Looks like Pyro Pat will be stoking the fires and keeping everyone warm and toasty again. I'm bringing extra firewood for this one.

I just found out I can make this trip after all, and arrive Saturday afternoon around 2 PM to stay overnight. Hope there will be some trees left!

This will be my first group hang, so I'm really excited to meet everyone.

What do we still need for the potluck? More firewood?
