A little more snow *very pic heavy*

Last minute trip out to my favorite spot, attempted to reach a destination that was cut short by some mental blocks. We'll get it next time!

By far this is the most snow I've ever hiked in. Snow height ranged from 1'' to roughly 30''. Some lessons were learned, but we had fun.

    Here are some boring photos:
May not seem like much, but I've never seen snow this low in the area.

For the first time, 4WD Saved the day. I also had my first experience with black ice- quite scary.

    Brother Rain pondering.

I've heard some ladies call this man a magical dude.

Lovely pin-sharp photography. You've got a good eye. I particularly like your B&W shots.

Oh, it looks like a great trip too.

wonderful pictures!! You'll have to excuse my ignorance, but, where is this? Your profile says "Cerritos", I have no clue where that is.
Being in Canada, we get lots of opportunity to take pictures of snow (10cm fell overnight) but what camera setting do you use to get the effects that you did? My snow pictures always turn out blah.
