I've got a little money in my Paypal account that I'd like to use for the raffle if I'm able to come...will paying via Paypal late tonight or in the morning be a problem? Hope to see you all tomorrow afternoon!
Paulie, you can pay via paypal up til Friday at lunch. As long as I can tell who's paid via my cell. Then I can make a note of it so I can have tickets for you. No worries though as I will be bringing many more tickets for those paying with cash.

As for the folks who can't make it, if you'd still like to participate in the raffle feel free! I can make a note of your tickets and if you win I will mail the item(s) to you.

    Hope to see everyone there!

If I were you, I would go in the rain.

Wish I could make it in the rain, but looks like all I'll get is residual dampness in the afternoon.

Getting things organized. Pack weight, with food, was looking good at 19lbs. Then I added my camp stool and clothes. Ouch!

Too funny, that's really where I expect to be, too, 20 or under. But alas, I'm at 28lbs non-liquid weight. Figured I needed my winter gear, at least for Friday night. Oh, and that doesn't include the Duralog I plan to bring also.

My pack weight with clothes, stool and food is 24.3 lbs. That Duraflame log weighs what, 5lbs?

Yeah, something like that, but was going to go with a smaller, starter version, about half that I guess. Should help some wet wood burn.

Looks like I'm in for this one. Plan to make it there tomorrow, hopefully after the rain.

My friend bailed on me because of the possibility of rain. I'm heading up earlier than most because I walk slowly and if I slide off the trail those coming later will hopefully pull me back on.
Keep movin', keep believing and enjoy the journey!
