Question Hammock Suggestion Question: minimal, lightweight, and daughter friendly

I posted a pic a few days ago of my daughter "hanging" under our table. The wife suggested I buy a Hammock for her!

Just something simple for her to hang around the house, and in the backyard. So, I started looking at the ENO Singlenest. But, I'd like to support cottage makers here on the forums.

BUT, then I realized it could work for me to use as a lightweight summer or quicktrip alternative to my WBBB.

I still want to stay towards the inexpensive range, or I'll get in trouble. What are some suggestions? I looked at the BIAS hammocks, specifically the Weenie or Weenie Micro.

    I'm 6'2"/210. She's only 30lbs.

We have a HH Cub for my son, but he's old enough for me to take him with me, my daughter has a little longer before she accompanies us on our backpacking trips.

Why not a tablecloth from tableclothsfactory.com. Many colors to choose from and very reasonably priced. You only need to whip the ends and add suspension and tree straps.

Could do a DIY from diygear, or rip stop from the fabric store or walmart?

I'm not looking to DIY, would prefer to purchase something. But thanks for the suggestions.

BIAS will probably be your best bet. Or possibly something from Dream-Hammock.

I made my youngest grand children (6 & 8) hammocks from shower curtains at WMT. These are the polyester exterior curtains that require a plastic inside curtain to use in the shower. They're about 7' x 3', hemmed on all sides with channels at the top & bottom. Ran a continuous loop through each end and they hang from some ratchet straps. Also made them bug nets from the polyester mesh window covering panels. Total cost was about $18.00 each. Grand daughter's is pink & white with a white bug net. Grandson's is a bit more macho with a light tan colored net.
