I used this bag every night for 2 ˝ months on the AT. The bag is in excellent condition and has been cleaned twice by Feathered Friends. (I just got it back last week from them) It has no rips, or stains.
The FF Winter Wren is a true 25°F bag. It has a draw string opening in the bottom which can be pulled up to wear @ camp. Getting into the hammock is very simple with it on. Pull it up to your knees, sit down, lay back, and sit up to pull it @your feet and pull the draw string.
The bag has a ˝ zip in the front for easy venting. The zippers are at the top & bottom, (Both Inside & out) so you can vent from the middle of the bag, or the top. The bag also has 2 side zips to put your arms outside of the bag.
I’ve worn mid-layer fleece, & a Mountain Hardware Hunker Down jacket and was nice & warm at 0°F.
The bag has hung in the closet, and has been in a complete smoke free environment. I paid @$325 + $25 for overfill.
