    First night in Custom RoamingGnome

Received my new winter hammock yesterday.
What a beauty, the workmanship and details are a sight to behold.

Specs: 11' x 60" 1.8 tafata single layer, 1.0 ripstop cover instead of net with double zipper pulls on one side. Lefty, Whoopies with 72" treestraps.

Colors: hammock night camo with black cover.

It was after dark when I set up on the deck last night so no picts yet but will take some today and post.

Thanks PapaSmurf for exceeding my expectation.

That night grid is really neat looking when you see more than just a swatch. And the skeeters aren't going to get through that "netting."

This is a new thing, maybe it should be called the Danger Gnome...

This is exactly what I was trying to explain in an earlier thread, but didn't have any photos of it. This is how I use the overcover. I just adjust the size of that open triangle with the 2 zippers and tuck the extra fabric up under the ridgeline. Did you also open the side up like that?

Do you mean open the side as a vent? I slept with the sides closed.
I just love being able to set the vent and open the side of the hammock to sit or lay.
