How does this cold weather setup sound?

Hi, newbie here. New to the forum and to hammock camping too. I have been backpacking and tent camping for many years but I purchased a Hennessy Explorer Ultralite back in the Spring and have spent around 5 nights in it and so far I love it. So much so that i want to try it in the Winter, so I just purchased a Jacks R Better Winter Nest. I plan to use my HH with the JRB Winter Nest and my 0° Big Agnes Storm King bag without a pad. How cold shoud I expect to be comfortable down too? Thanks in advance.

Depends on you. Are you a warm sleeper, cold sleeper, or somewhere in the middle?

The winter nest is tempting. I've got a Hennessy, but use it rarely and therefore have a difficult time justifying it. I'd be willing to bet you could deal with temps in the teens with no pad and that set-up. If you're a warm sleeper, I'm thinking single digits.

I think you should test it and tell the rest of us.
    Trust nobody!

Thanks for the reply. I am somewhere in between but I guess I am a little bit more of a cold sleeper. If I can sleep comfortably in this setup down to 20° I will be very happy. I plan to test this out Saturday night. Our lows here should be in the low 30's. I will let you know how it goes.

I made it down to the mid 20's last winter with a regular Nest with a 35 degree (WAAAY conservatively rated) Feathered Friends Rock Wren bag. Have a 3 or 4 foot pad to place under your hips/feet if you get a chill. I consider myself a non-Neo normal sleeper, no circulating antifreeze.
