    Welcome!

I enjoyed Cape Breton Isle on vacation one summer, camping at Inverness and hiking in the Highlands. Went to a meeting of some of the last of those that spoke Gaelic in conversation, keeping the language alive!

And what was that music festival called?

Saw my first moose up close and personal! LOL

I'm still waiting for it to ship (fingers crossed for Friday), so I'll let you know how much it is once it arrives.

Judique is a beautiful area I almost wish I had family out there so I would have more of a reason to visit. I always try to make it out though when there's an event or something like celtic colours!

    Take care,

You probably went to Celtic Colours in October. There are some other festivals and small events but that's the big one. The Gaelic College is very cool there are still a few native speakers out here which is really cool and my father speaks a little gaelic too.

Sounds like you had a good time though I need to do way more traveling and hopefully my Hammock will help with that.

Edit - Also those moose are huge aren't they?

Yes, they're like cows on stilts, I've heard it said. The bull I saw had a huge rack, could have been 6 feet wide. There in the park I assume they are protected. Several of us came upon them on the trail. Two cows fled but the bull kept munching away, not a care in the world.

Also saw the Aurora Borealis from our site at Inverness.

WOW! That's really cool I've honestly never seen them here in Cape Breton I'm glad you got to see them. I lived up in the Northwest Territories for a while and they we're out there all the time, they are quite wonderful.

Yeh those buggers are huge and also mighty tasty. There's a lottery you need to win to get a license to hunt those in certain areas. They run rampid in Newfoundland though and that's the place to hunt them if your into that.

I ran into this fourm after I bought my gear. I kind of regret it though because ENO really ripped me off when it came to which suspension to buy. So do allot of research watch shugs awesome videos.
