    Greetings from sunny Wales... UK.

Ok, I lied. Its pouring down

Been hammocking in the UK for two years, summer and winter. Looking to beat a PB of -9 this year, if it actually stops raining!

Currently using a WBBB clone with a silnylon tarp and pad after ditching the UQ. Oogling a Hammockgear Incubator 0° for a trip to Norway next year. Nice.

    Great forum, Live well, al.

It's not raining in Scotland! Sorry, it's not often that we have better weather than anywhere else so gotta rub it in when we can! Welcome to the forum!
How often does it get that cold in Wales? We're normally lucky to get below -5/-6C here other than the two winters before last. Although we had -5C last Saturday
Coldest I've been out is 0C, my first hang... about a month ago!
Anyway welcome to the madness, everyone is really friendly and there is heaps of info on every hammocky thing out there, have fun.

Welcome to the forums. It's been a very wet winter here in the States after a very hot summer. I'm looking forward to some snow soon. The Incubator should serve you well in the temps you have there.
I got in a fight one time with a really big guy, and he said, "I'm going to mop the floor with your face." I said, "You'll be sorry." He said, "Oh, yeah? Why?" I said, "Well, you won't be able to get into the corners very well."

Thanks for the warm welcome, appreciated.

Also, thanks too for the thumbs up on the Incubator. Just waiting to hear back about a technical question, then time to dent the bank balance

Hey craige. We had -10 last year locally (I'm at 330 mtrs) but being a donut, decided to camp out at much lower altitude (6mtrs) 30 miles from home. We could have walked 200 yards from my front door and nailed my PB. That's weather for you!

    Live well, al.
